CARE – WWF PRIMEIRAS E SEGUNDAS
Documentary
Finding sustainable alternatives that seek to improve the communities' standard of living is the only way to ensure the conservation of the Primeiras e Segundas Islands, one of the largest marine protected areas in Africa, located in Northern Mozambique, between the provinces of Nampula and Zambézia.
As the film unfolds, different personalities ranging from conservationists, local leaders, activists and community members are engaged in ways to reduce the impact of human activities on nature and reduce the pressure on natural resources, especially fishing resources, including mangroves.
This video made by ANIMA for the CARE – WWF Alliance aims to show the work done by these organizations in the conservation of marine species and in the interaction with the communities for the adoption of good practices in the exploitation of resources, in order to allow the protection of biodiversity and ensure that the animals and plants that live there do not become a distant memory.
