Eni Powering Mozambique

2016 - Eni

A 15-minute documentary about the social work Eni is developing in the north of Mozambique, with highlight to projects in the areas of water, health, education, employment and energy. We follow five life stories that show how the presence of Eni is changing the daily life of many communities. It’s the difference between having water and not, having a health centre near home, being able to send a child to school, have training in order to find a job, and maybe, one day, the energy that is on its way. This is a film about the progress the communities of Cabo Delgado have lived through in the last years.

Throughout the film, we are guided by a girl who walks a long way with a water container over her head. It’s her path until home that connects the five stories being told.

More than portraying the impact the projects have, we seek to depict the lives of the people through a narrative focused on human development.
