In Mozambique, half the population lives beneath the national poverty line, making the increase of the basic social subsidy coverage urgent. We were in Chokwé with the people who are in this situation, getting to know their daily reality. This film is an advocacy tool for the most disadvantaged.
“I can’t say it’s little, I didn’t work for it.” — says Pedro Mandlaze, a father who provides for his seven children. In this film, we witness how each of these beneficiaries used the money they receive and the great impact it has on their lives.
ANIMA produced the poster, the DVD case and the invitations for the film’s premiere.
